Session lab

Where session quality gets a careful reading

The session lab is our working method for app analytics engagements — a repeatable room (physical and remote) for walking visits, marking friction, and translating patterns into a brief your team can ship against.

Wall with sticky notes mapping a user journey in a bright studio

What happens in the lab

Analysts project or pass around session recordings, pause at hesitation and error recovery, and pin observations onto a shared journey wall. Usage pattern studies add calendar overlays so weekday and weekend rhythms stay visible.

Clients sometimes join for a half-day observation. More often we work asynchronously with your evidence, then invite you to the readout when the map is ready to discuss.

Lab stages

The same spine whether we meet in Khlong Toei or on a video call.

Intake shelf — apps, locales, critical jobs, and the evidence you already trust.

Session wall — annotated paths for onboarding, core task, and exit.

Pattern table — cohort and calendar cuts that explain return and pause.

Ranked brief — friction ordered by impact, with suggested next experiments.

Readout — 90 minutes with product and design leads to agree on first moves.

Bring your recordings to the lab

If you are unsure which study fits, send a short note — we will recommend a review, pattern study, or walkthrough.
